Visualization

We make complex thinking visible. Your strategy on one wall, your event summarised live, or a two-minute video that travels.

Three formats

Pick the one that fits

Visual summary mural drawn live at an event

Visual summaries

A live record, drawn on a 6 to 9 metre paper roll as your event happens. People remember what they watched take shape.

A big picture of an organisation’s value chain

Big pictures & templates

Your strategy condensed into one engaging image. Thirty slides become five. Plus the visual language and templates your teams keep using.

A frame from a pen-to-paper video

Pen-to-paper videos

A complex topic explained in about two minutes. The kind people actually watch, and share.

Track record

Pictures that stay in use for years

The IKEA operating model has run on one of our big pictures since 2010, now in its sixth iteration and used by more than 2,000 employees. Our “Your Choice” pen-to-paper video for the Danish Ministry of Education has been seen by around 800,000 young people and their parents.

How it works

Two levels of finish

A sketch invites people to engage. Engagement creates ownership, and stories with ownership travel wide. A polished poster communicates clearly, and can carry a vision that informs and inspires.

1 · BriefAn initial conversation about the main need and the idea for a visual output.
2 · PurposeWe clarify together what the purpose is, and how the experience should be before, during and after a visual story is told.
3 · Main messagesWe clarify together what needs to stick in the mind of the receiver.
4 · SketchingWe sketch the main messages and the overarching storyboard, and agree which direction to go.
5 · SimulationWe test how the visuals are received, and iterate until we land in the right spot.
6 · Polished stateWe finalise the sketch or illustration, or record the video, and hand over files ready to publish or present.
