The AI conversations every organisation should be having

In four hours you go from diffuse AI concerns to a map of the conversations your organisation needs to have, and your own first sketch of where to start. One workshop, two dates: in person in Copenhagen on Tuesday 15 September, run in Danish, and online live on Wednesday 16 September, run in English.

Workshop participants in conversation
Why this, why now

From complexity, to clarity and agency

In most organisations, AI arrived before anyone decided it should. The conversations about it are sporadic, unstructured, and scattered. There’s both unease and excitement. What is this? Am I losing my job? Is this good, or bad? Wow. I can do more. And I want to do more. Wherever you stand on the spectrum, the pace has never been this fast.

We spent the summer in Silicon Valley, an AI epicentre, meeting the people shaping the technology, and joined the UN’s AI for Good summit in Geneva, where the conversations circled around AI governance: pro-social, pro-human, pro-planet AI. It’s time to look up. Not to panic. To get clear, take a position, and shape what’s coming, our way.

Clarity is what builds agency: knowing where you stand, what you value, and what you want AI to do, and not do, in your organisation. Having that conversation is a muscle. Join us for half a day of AI fitness.

Who is it for

Leaders who sense a need for shared AI clarity

You sit in a position of responsibility, in a large organisation, a business unit, or a small team, and you know these conversations need to happen in a structured way, knowing that AI readiness is more than just the tooling.

People leaders

Head of HR, Learning, or Communication. You can feel the fear and the diffuse conversations in the organisation. You need a structured way to open the topic, without hype and without panic.

Transformation and IT leads

Change management, the transformation office, Head of IT. You are expected to implement, and you know tech decisions without alignment fail. You need the conversation map before the roadmap.

Leaders who want agency

You are sitting with “what do we actually need to do?” You want to take care of your people, help them show up in the AI agenda with clarity, and place a stake in the ground.

Also welcome: the builder, the AI startup, the IT profile who has done real work already and senses there is more to it than the build. You will hear how AI lands with people who are not techies.

What this is not: a course in building agentic systems, setting up AI tools, or running workshops with AI. This is the conversation before the build.

The half-day

How the workshop runs

We start simple, get everyone on the same page, and build towards clear, shared choices.

Sketch: how the workshop runs, step by step

Along the way you get the full spectrum of the debate, from the accelerationists to the Pro-Human Declaration, glimpses of what agentic workflows actually look like from builders we work with, and the stories of the peers in the room. Expect it to be very visual, very concrete, and a little experimental, because things are moving fast.

What you walk away with

Three things you take home

Sketch: the AI Compass

The AI Roadmap

Seven principles for rolling out AI in a sensible way. We are developing it with the Center for Humane Technology as a partner, with their eyes on the tool. Yours to bring home as the starting point for the conversations your organisation needs.

The AI Compass

A first version of a tool for navigating AI choices from your values: your own, your organisation’s, and the larger whole’s. A way to decide what to implement, and what not to.

Your own first sketch

Your AI journey so far, and a first draft of what an AI-enabled version of your role or team could look like. You draw it yourself; we show you how. It goes back to work with you.

Plus a basket of resources to keep going: the podcasts, documents, and manifestos we lean on. See our resources.

What you will not walk away with: an agentic system you built, or a tool setup. That comes later, and it comes better when the conversation has happened first.

What leaders say about working this way

Participants working visually in a facilitated session

“I am amazed at what we were able to achieve in such a short time. Everybody was engaged and involved in making the output concrete. Drawing was a powerful way to create alignment, and the workshop has given us direction.”

Zahed Kamathia
Vice President, Head of Talent, People, Places & Culture, LEGO

“In my work as a leader of strategic corporate governance, I am often in situations where I need to explain complex challenges. In these situations visualizing and drawing is a great tool. It invites and engages others and increases the chances of reaching a shared understanding.”

Lene Einang Flach
Project Director, NRK, Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation
Who is facilitating

Not technologists. That is the point.

We are not AI engineers. We have spent 25 years designing and facilitating engaging events at every level, from Davos to LEGO, Novo Nordisk, IKEA, and SAP. We know how to ask good questions, create a safe space, and create clarity with simple sketches. This summer that practice is pointed at AI: the rooms in San Francisco, the dialogues with the Center for Humane Technology, the UN’s AI for Good summit. You will even learn to sketch a little yourself.

The frontier

We thrive on the border between the old and the new

The frontier. It means our work is in process, and everyone in the room is involved in finding a way together. If you mostly go for finely polished reports, posters, and images, this is not for you. We believe it is time to color outside the lines.

If this draws you in too, you are invited. And if you have something to contribute, or want to help out, please reach out.
